Little Cup Coaster

Last week the lovely 23rdSpiral (from MSE Sewing thread) posted about some little cup coasters she made for her cups I just had to 'borrow' her idea (I did ask, honest), see her great ideas here, she is a talented lady!

Due to the fact that I had just received a beautiful new cup for work (see my last post) I thought that I should use my Cath Kidston off cuts to make a little CK and denim coaster to match it.

This is what I came up with using a few CK Duck Scraps and some denim scraps. It is edged in spotty ribbon from my friend Amanda:

It is a little larger than the cup, but that leaves just enough room for a little biscuit (current diet fad permitting), thanks for the idea Cate.

Eeekk! I just noticed I now have over 100 followers! I find it incredible that you are all reading my blog, its great to have your support and encouragement. Thank You all!
This weekend I will get organised to do a giveaway and will blog about that early next week ~ I must have a rummage to see what I have and perhaps get busy making something new for you.

p.s. Have you seen the ladies magazines out today (UK only I think) there are some nice freebies about ~ Marie Claire (costs £3.50) comes with free Cowshed Shower Gels (which I love) worth £8 and Glamour (costs £2) comes with free Benefit Makeup see this linkie from MSE for more info, they are not magazines I buy but I did today just for the extras.

Back Soon ♥

Thanks lovely ladies! Mirry, I used a layer of cheap fleece as I couldn't find any wadding.
