Fabric Makes

I have finally dusted off my poor sewing machine and make a few fabric bits.
I have had these cut out since September I think ~ shocking really. The fabric is all a little modern for my tastes but it was in the cheap stash I bought from Fabric Rehab last year. I thought someone might like it and they will make gifts, I forget that not everyone likes what I do and feel I should branch out sometimes.

I did get to mess about with them though I added little embellishments to them, buttons, felt and ribbons and they all have scrummy linings.

Now this is more my style, I made this one as a gift for the lovely NanaGoGo who celebrated a birthday this last week.

I keep meaning to make myself one, I must do before all the CK cotton duck runs out!

I love your little embellishments! The hearts are adorable, but I love how you kind of 'hid' the buttons on the second one. And now, due to the first, I am hungry for pastry :)

They are lovely. I keep scrolling up to have another look at them. The first and last are my favourties.

If they don`t like what you do, they`re just plain daft!!I LOVE my mine and will treasure it forever and I also love your new makes, especially the orange one and how you`ve positioned the buttons on it. Clever you. x

I can't imagine anyone not liking anything you made! I know what you mean though, just cos you don't like those fabrics doesn't mean nobody will. I have trouble with that concept too. I LOVE the CK one. xxx

They are all gorgeous - whilst I'd normally say I loved the CK one best, for some reason I am drawn to the orange - reminds me of my 70's childhood ;)

Oh I love the one with the buttons on as well as the floral one. I really like the way you have 'hidden' the buttons. They look great.

I really can't believe how similar our tastes are (or not when you receive my swap gifts ;0) )- I too like less modern stuff and i love what you have sent to Nana!

I almost forgot you sew! And I can certainly see why you prefer CK. The colour and the flowers just make you think of a different time.

They are lovely Kandi, I especially like the one with buttons. The beads you've put on the zippers finish them off a treat. Love buttons and beads...
