I have had these cut out since September I think ~ shocking really. The fabric is all a little modern for my tastes but it was in the cheap stash I bought from Fabric Rehab last year. I thought someone might like it and they will make gifts, I forget that not everyone likes what I do and feel I should branch out sometimes.
I did get to mess about with them though I added little embellishments to them, buttons, felt and ribbons and they all have scrummy linings.
Now this is more my style, I made this one as a gift for the lovely NanaGoGo who celebrated a birthday this last week.
I keep meaning to make myself one, I must do before all the CK cotton duck runs out!

I love your little embellishments! The hearts are adorable, but I love how you kind of 'hid' the buttons on the second one. And now, due to the first, I am hungry for pastry :)
They are lovely. I keep scrolling up to have another look at them. The first and last are my favourties.
If they don`t like what you do, they`re just plain daft!!I LOVE my mine and will treasure it forever and I also love your new makes, especially the orange one and how you`ve positioned the buttons on it. Clever you. x
Gorgeous - lovin the embelishments the buttons on the donuts - inspired!!
Why would anyone not like those beautiful creations of yours? I'd be absolutely thrilled to receive something that pretty.
Happy Birthday, NanaGoGo! xxx
Kandi they are lovely ~ I love the birdy one and the hearts that you have added to them. I have this fabric in black, bought on a whim and not yet used. But, my fav has got to be the one that you made for Nana Go-Go its beautiful. Dont forget to make one for yourself :) xxx
Lucky Nana Gogo! Beautiful makes!!! xxxx
I can't imagine anyone not liking anything you made! I know what you mean though, just cos you don't like those fabrics doesn't mean nobody will. I have trouble with that concept too. I LOVE the CK one. xxx
They are all gorgeous - whilst I'd normally say I loved the CK one best, for some reason I am drawn to the orange - reminds me of my 70's childhood ;)
Oh I love the one with the buttons on as well as the floral one. I really like the way you have 'hidden' the buttons. They look great.
They are beautiful, my favourites are the orange and of course the gorgeous floral. xx
They are so pretty! I am jealous that you can sew like this :)
I really can't believe how similar our tastes are (or not when you receive my swap gifts ;0) )- I too like less modern stuff and i love what you have sent to Nana!

I love the little purses you make, you always make the most of the fabric (even if it's not your taste) I still use the unionjack one you made for me, I love it :)
It's lovely to pop on your blog :) it always keeps me going :)

Can't imagine anyone not liking any of them as they're all lovely but not as lovely as my gifts from you, thank you Lucey xx
I almost forgot you sew! And I can certainly see why you prefer CK. The colour and the flowers just make you think of a different time.
They are fabulous little purses Kandi. You have such creative skills, you can clearly turn your hand to anything. x
They are ALL gorgeous as usual Kandi but my favourite this time has to be the orange one, LOVE it! But I also have a thing about buttons... ;-) xx
Really lovely purses Kandi. The orange one is my favourite. I love the button additions to it. Also love your zipper pulls. x
They are lovely Kandi, I especially like the one with buttons. The beads you've put on the zippers finish them off a treat. Love buttons and beads...
