The patron saint of charity shops (Our Blessed Lady Vix) must have been smiling down on me today as I got a nice little haul, it's been a while since I found anything.
First up this little beauty, control underwear! Sexy or what, in that popular shade 'skintone' ~ now it's not going to make hubbys knees quiver but it might stop my tummy wobble which can't be bad. I hasten to add it has never been on and still has all the tags and the modesty crotch strip plastic sheet thingy, and as it was in my exact size I snaffled it up for £1.50. It has a little bell attached between the boobs, not sure what that is for, perhaps to warn bystanders that I might explode out of it at any point?
It's nicer on the inside:
How about these little honeys, Hornsea Salt & Pepper Pots from early 70's, the rubber seal is still there but it has perished ~ £1.
Little trinket tray for my rogue earrings ~ 50p
A bag stuffed full of mostly unused DMC and Anchor Tapestry Wool ~ £1.75
1972 Christening Gown Knitting Pattern ~ check out the mother's knitted frock ~ wonderful; 20p.
A bag of hair! It appears be from a hairdresser that has had a clear out, they had a job lot of it in, I thought it might come in handy, maybe as hair for the Tilda dolls and angels ~ 50p.
A canny little brand new Heidi Seeker tote bag ~ 50p
Oh almost forgot, and a coffee table £15, I don't have a photo of it it's still at the shop waiting for hubbie to pick it up. It will be cleaned sanded and painted before going in the lounge, but I have been on the lookout for a new (read second hand) coffee table for ages now, I hate the one I have and can't wait to get rid.
So there you have it a weird and wonderful haul, be back with some bead and woolen makes later in the week.

Wow! Great stuff. Let me know how comfortable that `girdle` is! I`m thinking along the same lines!Theh bag of hair looks interesting!Have a great week, Kandi. x
`The` bag of hair, even! I must have been thinking about sheep!
wow - what a lovely lot of bargains! Plus control underwear is my friend (well until it rolls up/down and gives me an extra tyre!) Scarlett x
Love the finds Kandi most especially the body shaper thingy.
As a 'Spanx' fan I can really appreciate it!
To stop my Spanx rolling down or whatever I'm wearing over them sliding off I usually either stitch them into my clothes if I'm wearing leggings or put my tioghts under them if I'm wearing tights (obviously)!!
Em xxxxxxx
Great finds Kandi! Particularly like the control underwear. I have a pair of pants that start just below my chest and stop just above my knees. Very sexy! Love the tote bag too. Reminds me of Babycham!. x
Isn't it lovely when you find loads of stuff you love, makes it worthwhile. I'm looking forward to a trawl round the CS's tomorrow.
Hugs

Gorgeous haul, well done you, love it!! Thank you for your comment, I have heard the gamming ones can be quite addictive, and as for the day off work, he he sounds like something I would do. Is a balance isn't it I guess. Hopefuly I am finding a way of how to find it....

Oh I almost spit out my tea when I read "to warn bystanders that I might explode out of it."
The bell is probably for when you do a little shimmy for the hubs :)

Lots of bloggers seem to be doing well in the charity shops just now - must be a clearing out time of year. How odd to have a bell on your undies!
Great finds, why can I never find things like that??!!! The underwear was a bargain!! :) x
Oooo lovely (and lucky lol) finds :)
Im getting CS withdrawal symptoms lol.
I love, love the knitted brooches too. Thank you very much for the wonderful surprise that arrived this morning :):):)

Great finds, I love the hornsea pottery, it's very pretty! :) x

Great finds especially new underwear in your size, cant beat it! :)

JIlle x
Apologies couldn't resist ;0) Nearly finished though xx
well done on the bargains, our goddess Vix clearly passed on some of her chazzing luck !!
is it real hair in the bag?!
Fab finds. I had a chuckle at Vix being our charity shop saint and about the bell on the 'shapewear' lingerie. Perhaps it to warn men that what they see isn't really what they'll be getting once we've whipped our controlling undergarments off? x
