Following on from that Fancy Moon were offering a 10% discount on their new online store so I bought a few half metres from them (see sidebar for their store – type in kandi to get your 10% discount). (The tattoo fabric was from ebay).
The Cath Kidston sale started at the end of last month and I ordered myself a new handbag and some bits (well, I couldn’t help it) and I also ordered some of their lovely cotton duck:
Now I feel guilty as I have too much fabric already and should really use that up first but it’s a bit of an addiction of mine.
I have made another makeup bag from some of the owl fabric from Fabric Rehab, there were only small patches of this fabric so I had to incorporate it into my bag rather than cover the whole thing,

I love these owls.
As I use up my new stash I will be sure to show you what it turns into (If I can bear to cut into it!).

Beautiful fabric :) x
The fabric with the ickle birds on it is sweet. I like your little make as well! x
After seeing those little bundles- I have just ordered 5! Little bits give me more permission to use! Love the owl and spots on your make up bag
Lovely, lovely buys Kandi! I love the handbag. I bought some CK sale stuff too. The owl make up bag is gorgeous! Lynda xxx
Love the new fabric (makes me want to go out and spend, spend, spend!)Really like your make up bag. Those fabrics go really well together. Cant wait to see what you make next! - Pootle Flump x
What fantastic purchases! Especially the little bundles. I'm so pleased you got your crochet sorted! There's no stopping you now! Amanda xxx
Little bundles like that are so inspiring aren't they? It's not so hard to cut into a little piece compared with cutting into a whole metre of something (or is that just me?)
Your make-up bag is lovely - I think it's nicer with the patch of owls and the dots either side, rather than all owls. The butterflies are beautiful too - what will you make? I'll look out for more of your pretty creations :o) L xox
Noooooooooo! I followed the link - only to peep you understand - and I am now £25 lighter! But it's not my fault so thats okay! xx

Pretty fabrics-esp the owls!!!
Loving the birdy fabric. So, so pretty!
cute, cute owls and i love what you've done with them
There's just something about fabric that makes me go "squeeeeeee!" inside. But I'm being good and NOT clicking on that link until I've actually bitten the bullet and made something with the fabric I do have.
I'm a fabric lover myself and I have started liking Michael Miller's fabric too. They are adorable. The Cath Kidston bag you got, is it oilskin? My local fabric store once brought in Lecien oilskin & it was sold out as soon as the shop was opened. I cried like a baby because I wanted some.
thanks, i think, for the fabric links! such a cute purse!
