I bought a bundle of patterns in the Simplicity Sale a few weeks ago and together with some ditsy blue flower fabric I found at a local market I tried my hand at making a teddy bear.
Well, I was confused with the pattern and convinced I had cut it out incorrectly until it all came together somehow and turned into a teddybear.
He is far from perfect and I learned a few lessons along the way but this was a bit of a challenge for me and I enjoyed how he transformed into a bear.
Here you can see the fabric a little better, he is quite sombre but squishy and sweet to hold. The kids think he's scary as he reminds them of the scary bear in the fridge in the Fish advert on TV at the moment!?!
I think I will call him Harvey.
I think I will call him Harvey.
