I need your help please...


I have been trying to stick to my handmade pledge and have been making bits and bobs to give as Christmas Presents, one thing I have made are these cotton facecloths:

I followed the pattern that Bethany blogged about, it is for a dishcloth, but with the added crochet flower I think it will pass for a nice facecloth.


Now, I have made a few of these and I want to give them with a nice bar of handmade soap all tied up with a ribbon. This is where you come in, can you recommend any independant handmade soap makers in the UK that I can buy some wonderful soap from. I love the Lush soaps but would prefer a smaller independant supplier, any recommendations?

    I've been thinking about ordering some from the one that was on the KHM Christmas show. Their called Odd's & Suds ~ the soaps look good enough to eat :0)

  12. Kandi your facecloths are beautifully made, the addition of the flower makes them look very feminine. As for the soap you have lots of suggestions but you could always try your local farmers market x

  13. BOMB cosmetics do gorgeous soaps- nicer then Lush and cheaper- I get mine form my local garden centre. You could always try making some of your own you can get kits from hobbycraft xx

  17. As a lucky recipient of one of your face cloths I can say that they are fantastic to use and after repeatedly using it & laundering it I report that it is still immaculate! How fab is that - practical AND durable AND gorgeous too!

  22. I've never found any soaps to even approach Lush for all-round wonderfulness but it looks like you have lots of suggestions here.

    The cloths look fab - practical but very pretty too!
