Christmas Makes and More Advent Swap Delights

December is difficult for showing makes as they are all for other people.  As I have started to hand out bits and bobs I can show these little makes.  I have made a few handmade Christmas Decorations to send out to a few friends and this is what I have been busy with handmade from our lovely Annie's felt;

I bought this pattern from Rosie Little Things after being introduced to her stuff by our Lynda

my attempt

More felty makes stuffed with lavender

 Some cross stitch Christmas Cards

I made these next ones all for me!  Dried orange slices spiced with nutmeg cinnamon and studded with cloves.

I dried these out over a couple of weeks on the radiator as I'm too tight to put the oven on for hours on a low heat!
I've popped some over my fireplace and when the fire is lit a lovely smell fills the room.

Oooh almost forgot today's advent gift from Lynda a lovely East of India Picture which I just adore, I have a thing for Angels!

Thanks again my lovely!

Right, that's me for today don't forget tomorrow I'm drawing a winner for my little giveaway, there is still time to get your name in the hat.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

... isn't it exciting, I'm one of those people that just love Christmas (apologies to all the scrooges out there)!

Last week I posted off my box of goodies to my lovely friend Lynda (Hookin' with LaaLaa) for our Advent swap

I also received my parcel too!  At this point I can only share the parcels all ready to be unwrapped, but don't they look appealing?

Do you see that Lindt chocolate bear? He is now gone, he was rather tasty!

I have to add that I was overjoyed to receive a pack of egg nog mix, Lynda has turned me and Beki into egg nog addicts so anything to help feed the addiction is more than welcome, it was delicious too with full fat milk and a splash of cream and nutmeg ~ Christmassy heaven in a cup!

Isn't swapping a little scary though, I always feel very nervous that I have not sent enough, or that it is not to the standard required but I do like to participate anyway.

Most of my recent makes are presents for Christmas, swaps, and birthdays but I will be back soon to reveal all.
p.s. I'm very nearly at 400 followers (thanks to you all xx) so I'm contemplating a little giveaway when I reach the big 400, watch this space.

Christmas Felt Makes

I have been playing with some of Annie's gorgeous felt this week and made some simple Christmas decorations

I stuffed them lightly with wadding and a few teaspoons of French lavender and added some of my beloved bakers twine.

I like to make a new decoration for my tree every year.

Are you into the Christmas mood yet, what are you making?
