Quick Little Cath Kidston Fabric Make

During an online discussion with the lovely Sue last week I got to thinking about how to protect fabric and I was wondering if it could be laminated.

I envisaged that it might well catch fire but I tried it anyway, and it worked!

I had some scraps of Cath Kidston cotton duck left over from the spare handle from the Sew Bag I made, I chopped them up and laminated them.

I added some ribbons and some of my beloved buttons and lo and behold my CK Bookmarks:

p.s that is one of my favourite books it was a gift from a friend 12 years ago and it is still in my top 10, when I am looking for something to read it's the book I pick up the most.

p.s. I have just noticed that every post this week has in some way been related to Cath Kidston, you would think I was on commission, but I promise I'm not I just love her stuff!

  3. You clever thing - and brave. I'd be too scared I'd destroy the laminator (or, more importantly, the fabric...). Great idea. And you can never have too much CK so I look forward to more floral posts :o) Lucy xox

  7. Amanda, that cutter is just an interchangeable blade that I got with my rotary cutter, I love it and use it quite often.
